Dear London Sai Youth,
Sai Ram!

Several youth for the last 5 months have been on a weekly basis doing a sandwich run in Central London, Holborn. We have linked up with Pret a Manger to pick up sandwiches that have not been sold from a couple of branches from the local area and giving them out to homeless persons on the streets. The sandwiches sold by Pret are always freshly made on the day and Pret would normally throw them away at the end of the day.

We are now looking for more volunteers to set up a Rota system to carry on this seva. The help we need is listed below:

1. Pick up sandwiches from Pret branches from 5:30pm - 6pm in the West end and bring them to Holborn.
2. Support with making some additional sandwiches as we always run out of food and bring them to Holborn.
3. In the long term looking at some projects with the homeless - if you would like to be involved then also please let us know if you are free to help.

We need dedicated and committed youth to provide a couple of hours on a rota basis. If you are interested in assisting please contact us or send us a email at admin@saiyouth.org.uk.
